Former PCB Chairman reveals reasons for Pakistan defeat in World Cup, has remedies too

LONDON–Former PCB Chairman Najam Sethi reveals reasons for Pakistan defeatin World Cup, has remedies too.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) former chairman Najam Sethi called for acomplete investigation of dressing room conditions of national cricket teamon Wednesday.

Talking to media, he asked about the need of public relations (PR) managersfor all players, coach and captain. He asserted that situation was verydifferent in his time as no coach and captain feared anything.

Criticizing Pakistan skipper Sarfraz, he asserted that Sarfraz has lost hisconfidence as well as national cricket team has lost all their aggressionto pose a challenge to other teams in the field.

While talking about the PCB, he said that Board has been divided by themembers, it only runs on threats and intimidation now. Sethi expressed thatPCB suffered a lot due to abrupt changes made in the past few months.

“Performing players should get a chance whereas there is a lack of trustpresent in the team right now”, he added.

Board members should come to London to boost team’s confidence instead ofsitting idly in Lahore, he expressed.
