*ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi has conferred Nishan-i-Imtiaz upon GeneralHan Weiguo Commander of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Ground Force ofChina, in a special investiture ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr on Tuesday.*
According to a statement issued by his office, the president in a meetingafter the ceremony congratulated General Han Weiguo and reiterated Pakistanstrong resolve to take the bilateral relations between the two countries tonew heights in all fields.
He said that Pakistan and China enjoyed a unique all-weather andtime-tested friendship and Pakistan considered China as its “Iron Brother”.
