Shoaib Suddle likely to be appointed as Chairman PM High Powered Inquiry Commission: sources

ISLAMABAD – Former IGP Shoaib Suddle is likely to be appointed as ChairmanPM High Powered Inquiry Commission, sources have revealed.

Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Political Affairs Naeem ul Haq onMonday said that Dr Shoaib Suddle has been considered along other names tohead the new high-powered inquiry commission to probe loans taken in last10 years.

PM Imran Khan has completed consultation with the political leadersregarding the appointment of inquiry commission’s head.

According to Dunya News, PM Khan can declare the appointment of the headany time soon. The commission will probe into the Rs24000 billion loansacquired by the previous ruler during the last 10 years.

It is pertinent here to mention that in his address to the nation, PrimeMinister Imran Khan had earlier this month, announced to form ahigh-powered inquiry commission.

He said that the commission will comprise of officials from Inter-ServicesIntelligence (ISI), Intelligence Bureau (IB), Federal InvestigationAuthority (FIA), Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) andother departments.
