LAHORE – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif latest medical reports havebeen revealed by Jail Doctor.
The medical officer on Monday submitted their reply in the Islamabad HighCourt over health status of former premier Nawaz Sharif, who has soughtsuspension of his sentence on medical grounds in the Al-Azizia Steel Millscase while filing a second petition.
Reportedly, in a report submitted, it is mentioned that Mr Sharif has beensuffering from diabetes, blood pressure and health related diseases.
It further says that the former prime minister had a heart bypass surgeryin the years between 2011 and 2016, and stents were placed in his heart inthe years 2001 and 2017.
Moreover, the court is informed that Mr Sharif’s health condition wasbetter under the current medical treatment offered to him.
It adds that when he was asked to undergo an ECG medical test, he refusedit.
Besides, his blood pressure and sugar reports are also attached with theoverall health status report, including a list of medicines which hisdoctors have recommended him.
Importantly, the jail superintendent has also pleaded with the court todispose of Mr Sharif’s bail application.
