ISLAMABAD -Pakistan clean and green programme to be replicated at otherplaces worldwide, Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik AminAslam has revealed
He says planting of ten billion trees will make the country greener andcreate a positive impact on environment.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with Clean and Green Pakistan Movementin Rawalpindi on Sunday, he said all environment-related worldorganizations have recognized this initiative and they will visit Pakistansoon to study and replicate this model at other places worldwide.
Later, addressing a plantation ceremony in Rawalpindi, Minister forCommunication and Postal Services Murad Saeed says plantation is the onlyway to defeat the dangerous climate change in future.
He urged the nation to at plant at least one tree on the eve ofIndependence Day.
