ISLAMABAD – Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi onWednesday said that the FBR has collected Rs 278 billion in taxes in themonth of July, the first month of fiscal year 2019-20.
Shabbar Zaidi said that the government had originally fixed revenuecollection target at Rs 291 billion for the first month of fiscal year2019-20.
He further said that the government has achieved 96 percent target ofrevenue collection in the month of July.
