COAS General Bajwa attends funeral prayers of martyred military pilots

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa attendedfuneral prayers of two military pilots and three crew members martyred inArmy Aviation plane crash, near Rawalpindi, ISPR Reported on Tuesday.

The funeral prayers of martyred army pilots and other crew members wereheld at the Chaklala Garrison.

According to ISPR, the funeral prayer was attended by COAS General QamarJaved Bajwa, other serving and retired military officials and relatives ofthe martyrs.

At least 18 people, including five military personnel, embraced martyrdomwhen a small plane of the Pakistan Army Aviation crashed near Mora Kalu(Bahria Town Phase-7) Rawalpindi in wee hours of Tuesday.

According to the ISPR, a small military plane crashed near the Mora Kaluarea in Rawalpindi. At least 18 people, 13 civilians and five crew members,were martyred in the tragic incident. Following the crash, a massive firebroke out that engulfed several houses.
