ISLAMABAD – On the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the position ofthe financial adviser has been removed from all federal ministries.
Effective from today, no federal minister will have a financial adviser onthe government’s payroll.——————————
As per the notification circulated on Saturday, the chief finance andaccounts’ officers will handle the financial affairs of all ministries anddivisions.
The notification said that the move was made under the Financial ManagementAct 2019 and was part of the economic reforms the government has recentlyintroduced.——————————
