Iran test fires ballistic missile inside its borders

WASHINGTON – US officials claimed that Iran has test-fired a medium-rangeballistic missile inside its borders, the Radio Pakistan reported.

A White House spokesman called the test launch an example of Iran “actingout” as a result of intense pressure from US economic sanctions.

The official said it is suspected the test was part of Iran’s efforts toimprove the range and accuracy of their missiles.

Meanwhile, the nations that are still parties to the nuclear deal with Iranwill have a meeting in Vienna on Sunday to see to what extent the agreementcan be saved.

The meeting to be attended by officials from China, Russia, Britain, Franceand Germany will be chaired by the European Union.
