ABU DHABI – Rear Admiral Pilot Staff Major General Sheikh Saeed bin Hamdanbin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Commander of the Naval Forces, has met with AdmiralZafar Mahmood Abbasi, Chief of Naval Staff of Pakistan, who is currentlyvisiting the country.
The meeting comes within the framework of the two sides’ keenness to reviewthe current situation in the region.
Both sides discussed the existing bilateral relations, as well as exchangedviews on a number of issues of mutual interest, especially in the maritimesector.
During the meeting, both sides commended the outstanding relations betweenthe two friendly countries.
The meeting was attended by senior Navy officers and the delegationaccompanying the guest.
A spokesperson of Pakistan Navy said that this visit of the Naval Chiefwill prove very important to strengthen relations between the forces ofboth the countries.
