ISLAMABAD – Judge Arshad Maliklink, therecently removed judge of Islamabadlink AccountabilityCourt link II, wants tofile an FIR link againstPML-N link leaders,including Maryam Nawazlink.
He has already filed an FIRlink against six people inthe video case.He already filed on Julylink 16 an FIRlink at the FIAlink’s Cyber Crime linkCentreagainst people who made and distributed a video of him. These six peopleare Mian Tariq Mehmood, Mian Raza, Nasirlink Janjua, Nasirlink Butt, Khurram Yousufand Mehar link GhulamJillani.The FIR link beenfiled under sections 13, 20, 21 and 24 of the Pakistanlink Electronic Crimes Act, 2016link and includes Section 8of the Cyber Crimelink Act.Judge Maliksentenced Nawaz to prison for seven years after convicting him in the AlAzizia Steel Mills case.
At a press conference, Maryam showed videos of the judge telling Nasirlink Butt, a member of thePML-N link, thathe was pressured into convicting Nawaz. in which he reportedly saidformer primeminister link NawazSharif link wasinnocent and wrongly convicted.The judge, however, later denied the video and claimed that what he saidhas been taken out of context.
Many people have asked the authorities to conduct a forensic analysis ofthe video.In his FIR link,he said 15 years ago, Mian Tariq Mehmood drugged him and made an�unethical’ video of him. He then tried to blackmail the judge with it.
Malik says Mehmood then sold it to PML-Nlink leader MianRaza a few months ago. Mehmood was arrested by the FIAlinkWednesday. Teams have been formed to arrest the other five suspects.Nasirlink Janjua and othersshowed him that video and tried to blackmail him, he contended, adding thatthey pressured him to give that statement.However, he realised afterwatching Maryam Nawazlink andother PML-N linkleaders’press conference that they had tampered with the video.The ones who showedthe video are all link guiltyof electronic forgery, he contended.He now wants to file an FIRlink against PML-Nlinkincluding Maryam, Shehbaz Shariflink, ShahidKhaqan Abbasilink,Pervaiz Rashid link andAzma Bukhari.
