ISLAMABAD – Top government officer becomes approver against former PMShahid Khaqan Abbasi, NAB sources have revealed. Ex-Secretary Petroleum, Abid Saeed, has become approver against formerPrime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in LNG case, GNN reported.
Sources privy to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) revealed thatdecision to arrest Abbasi was made after the ex-secretary agreed to turnapprover.
Head of four institutions—linked with LNG agreement—have also been includedin the investigation.
The anti-graft body has not officially confirmed regarding Abid Saeedbecoming an approver against Khaqan Abbasi.
