Lahore: Senior analyst Imran Yaqub on Friday revealed that Prime Minister(PM) Imran Khan has assigned a special task to Jahangir Tareen and PervezKhattak to create a group of lawmakers who will vote in favour of SadiqSanjrani in return for chair of Senate’s deputy chairman.
“Inside-aware told us that PM Imran Khan has assigned a special task toJahangir Tareen and Pervez Khattak. PM Khan is not willing to give money.However, the premier has stated that if Tareen and Khattak succeed increating such a group of lawmakers who are willing to thwart no-trustmotion [against Sanjrani], then government will give chair of Senate’sdeputy chairman to one of the candidate from the group”, stated Yaqub.
