ISLAMABAD – In response to the decision made by Islamabad High Court (IHC)of removing accountability judge Arshad Malik from his post, PML-N leaderMaryam Nawaz has tweeted recently.
“The issue is not removal of judge from his post, but suspension of thedecision made by him”, Maryam Nawaz said on the social networking site,adding further that from the decision of Islamabad High Court, it is clearthat superior judiciary has acknowledged the facts, if so, why is theverdict made by him still valid?
“If the judge has been ousted from his post, why not Nawaz Sharif has beenreleased who was convicted by the similar judge?” she added further.
Since last week, Arshad Malik is at the centre of controversy after PML-Nleader Maryam Nawaz released his video clip where he is confessing to bepressurized to convict former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Al-Aziziareference case.
