*ISLAMABAD*: Prime Minister Imran Khan has appointed former financeminister Asad Umar as member of the National Development Council (NDC),said a notification issued on Wednesday.
PM Imran Khan had approved the establishment of the NDC on June 18 thatcomprises 13 members, including Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General QamarJaved Bajwa.
Secretaries of PM Khan, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and FinancialAdvisor Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh are also a part of the NDC. Moreover,planning, development and reforms divisions secretaries are also members ofthe council.
