The federal government Thursday appointed DIG Javed Akbar Riaz as DirectorGeneral National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

Javed Akbar Riaz is a Grade 20 officer of the Police Service and was postedin FIA.

The appointment was made under section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973.

Establishment Division has issued an official notification in this regard.
