Former premier Nawaz Sharif Sunday demanded the Pakistani courts take suomoto notice of fake cases against him that have ruined his precious fiveyears of life.
Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif along with hisdaughter Maryam Nawaz said this during his heart-to-heart conversation withthe nation and a local media in London on Sunday.
The three-time former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif haslamented that in order to exact revenge on him, the country has beendestroyed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Nawaz Sharif said people were happy with his government in his last tenurebut the court’s decision to prison and disqualify him was totally unjust ashe was punished in a fake case.
He said during his detention, he came to know that his wife was unconsciousso he requested the judge to postpone judgement against him for a week buthe refused and announced a punishment of 10 years in his absence.
When we—Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz—returned Pakistan and everybody haveseen what happened to us in the jail, he said adding that in Imran Khan’sgovernment, Maryam was arrested by NAB official before his eyes when shecame to meet him in jail and all this was done by them just to hurt him.
The former premier fumed who allowed them to take revenge on Pakistan. Herued that inflation went through the roof during Imran Khan’s tenure.“During my government, people were happy,” he added.
He said Pakistan was a dignified country and he never compromised on itshonour. He revealed that he was offered $5 billion in a platter for notconducting nuclear tests but he had refused to accept it.

He expressed his thankfulness to Allah Who reunited him with his daughterMaryam. ‘Praise be to Allah that Maryam is sitting beside me today. Like abrave daughter, she has supported her father. I’m proud of her’, he added.
Talking about his late mother, the former prime minister said that hismother used to shower special love on him. He reminisced whenever she cameto visit him in Pindi jail, she would say she won’t leave the premiseswithout taking him out from there. I used to console her and tell her thatit could not happen, then she insisted to let her stay in the jail with me,the PML-N supremo added.
Bemused by sibling envy, he recalled how his brother Shehbaz Sharif used tocomplain about mother’s greater affection for him. He remembered when hismother breathed her last, he was holding her in his arms as he was sittingon her bed.
He said in the Adiala Jail, he requested jail officials to make call toLondon as his wife’s health was not well. But they did not allow him tomake a call and after three hours gave him a message of his wife’s death,he said adding that he personally informed Maryam about her mother’s deathin the jail cell where she was detained separately him.
He raised the question that who will pay back these years to him and hisdaughter especially when she has now been proven innocent in the cases madein
