Over 100 Pakistanis deported from Saudi Arabia

*KARACHI: As many as 100 Pakistanis landed at Jinnah International Airporton Wednesday after being deported by Saudi Arabia for multiple reasons, ARYNEWS reported. *

According to details, most of the passengers were deported for violatingvisa and iqama laws. “20 of them have been shifted to passport cell forfurther investigation,” sources privy to the development said.

The 20 prisoners were jailed in Saudi prisons under separate charges andtherefore had to complete their sentences in Pakistan while the others wereallowed to go to their homes, they said.

In a similar action previously, two flights carrying 200 Pakistanisdeported from Saudi Arabia reached Jinnah International Airport Karachi.

The flights from Jeddah and Riyadh airports carrying the deportees reachedthe Karachi airport where they would undergo medical tests including rapidantigen test for COVID-19.
