NEW YORK – Pakistan hits back at India, quoting instances of the Indiansponsorship of terrorism and aggression against all its neighbours, sayingNew Delhi becomes the principle perpetrator, sponsor, financier, andabettor of terrorism in South Asia.
After Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wrapped up his maiden address to theUnited Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday, in which he criticizedModi led government over atrocities in occupied Kashmir, the Indiandelegation exercised its right to reply.
In his speech, the first secretary of the Indian Mission to the UN, MojitoVinito leveled allegations at Pakistan for sheltering terrorists behind thehorrific terror attacks and accused it of sponsoring cross-border terrorism.
In response, Pakistan’s first blind diplomat and counselor at the PakistanMission to the United Nations, Saima Saleem, categorically trashed Indianallegations about Islamabad’s involvement in terrorist acts.
Pakistani Mission to the UN said the myth of terrorism created andpropagated by India, cannot and will not hide the stark reality that peopleof Pakistan, the Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) andits own minorities are victims of its state-sponsored terrorism.
She mentioned instances of the Indian sponsorship of terrorism andaggression against all its neighbours that makes New Delhi the “principleperpetrator, sponsor, financier and abettor” of terrorism in South Asia.
