*SWAT: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Malakand Region killed foileda major terror bid and killed a ‘wanted’ terrorist of the outlawedTehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in Swat, ARY News reported on Friday.*
According to a CTD spokesperson, the security forces and terroristsexchanged fire in the area during wanted TTP terrorist – Adil Zaib – waskilled. However, the accomplice of the terrorist escaped in injuredcondition by taking advantage of the darkness.
The raiding team also recovered hand grenades, weapons and ammunition fromthe killed terrorist. The killed terrorist was also wanted in explosionsand target killings.
