NEW YORK – Senior US defence official lauds Pakistan Military role in waragainst terrorism and the professional capabilities of the force.
A senior US official has praised Pakistan’s “significant” contribution tothe war on terrorism, saying the relationship between the Pakistani andAmerican armed forces is one of the strongest pillars in the ties betweenthe two countries.
Randall Schriver, Assistant Secretary of Defence, made the remarks at asolemn commemoration of ‘Defence & Martyrs Day’ organized by the Embassy ofPakistan in Washington, according to a press release.
