KABUL – Over 50 Afghan soldiers have been reported killed and injured inAfghan Taliban attack fierce attack on Kunduz, Afghan media has reported.

At least 20 Afghan security force members were killed and 80 othersincluding civilians, were wounded in Taliban attack on the city of Kunduzwhich continued for more than 24 hours, the Ministry of Interior said in astatement on Sunday.

Taliban has not commented on their casualties in Kunduz battle.

The city of Kunduz came under attack for the third time in the last fiveyears. The militants attacked the city from three directions at around 1:30am on Saturday, according to Interior Ministry.
