ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Meteorological Department (Met) Director SardarSarfaraz on Monday said that the monsoon season in the country is expectedto continue till September 30.
The Met department official told reporters that the rainfall system in theArabian Sea and in Indian Gujarat had caused the sea breeze to stop inKarachi, and that still and hot weather is likely to persist in themetropolis for two more days.
He said that rain with thunderstorms was expected in Karachi today and onTuesday. In three to four days another potentially strong downpour systemwould reach the city, the official added.
