SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir life remains paralyzed in the Kashmir valleyand five districts of Jammu region for the 29th consecutive day, Monday,due to unprecedented curfew and communications blackout imposed by Indiangovernment.
Internet, mobile and landline services are dead and TV channels are shutsince August 05 when India revoked special status of Jammu and Kashmir. Thevalley is cut-off from the rest of the world.
Local newspapers failed to publish their print and online editions.
Shops and business establishment remain closed and schools are empty ofstudents amid authorities claims that they have opened the schools in theterritory.
The people are facing acute shortage of essential commodities includingfood, milk and life-saving medicines due to curfew and communicationsblockade.
