ISLAMABAD – Finance Advisor Hafeez Sheikh has some good news for publicfrom next month as he hinted at reduction in petroleum prices.
Finance advisor Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh on Saturday said government wants togive relief to masses so prices of petroleum products are likely to go downfrom next month.
He said government wants to provide maximum benefit to masses and allocatedRs950 billion for developmental programs in the budget. He saiddevelopmental activities would have positive impact and jobs would becreated.
Dr Sheikh said PM Imran Khan has directed to complete and continuouslymonitor mega projects at earliest so that people could get benefits. Hesaid Rs 192 billion have been allocated for poor class of Pakistan, addingthat government want to expedite welfare projects like Sehat Card.

He said Rs 262 billion subsidy has been given in budget, adding that it iswill of government to restore economy to gain confidence of businesscommunity. He said efforts of government in this regard have startedproducing results.
