Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has reserved verdict in ArshadMalik’s video scandal case.
According to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Asif Saeed Khosa, decision willbe announced in two to three days.
During the hearing, Chief Justice said that Arshad Malik’s conduct broughtshame to all judges. He added that Lahore High Court will assess theconduct of Judge Arshad Malik.
Justice Asif Saeed Khosa further said that judges of such characters can beblackmailed by any person and said that SC will overview the judicialelements itself.
According to the investigation report, PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif hadstated that Maryam Nawaz informed him about the video of Arshad Malik justfew hours before the press conference. He added that he had not seen thevideo and Maryam Nawaz had informed him that both audio and video wererecorded separately.
Maryam Nawaz has maintained that she had not seen the 16 year oldobjectionable video of Arshad Malik’s which was allegedly made by MianTariq.
Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, had accusedArshad Malik of convicting his father in false corruption cases.
