QUETTA – The younger brother of Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has beenappointed special assistant to the chief minister of Balochistan withimmediate effect.
Ejaz Sanjrani’s appointment was announced through an official notificationissued on Wednesday, a national holiday.
The notification stated that ‘in exercise of the powers conferred by therule 6(3) of the Balochistan Government Rules of Business , 2012, the ChiefMinister Balochistan has been pleased to appoint Mr Ejaz Sanjrani asSpecial Assistant to the Chief Minister Balochistan with immediate effectand until further orders’.
Ejaz Sanjrani also served in the same capacity during the PML-N coalitiongovernment led by Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.

The move comes days after Sadiq Sanjrani survived a no-trust move launchedby the opposition to unseat him in the upper house of parliament.
