Pakistan celebrates 73rd Independence day as Kashmir Solidarity Day

*ISLAMABAD – The nation is celebrating the 73rd Independence Day asKashmir Solidarity Day to express full support to Kashmiri brethren facingrenewed Indian repression.*

Protest rallies will be taken out in all small and major cities of thecountry and seminars are being organized to highlight the plight ofoppressed people in Occupied Kashmir.

The government has decided to celebrate the Independence Day to expresssolidarity with people of Occupied Kashmir and entire nation in unifiedvoice will reiterate moral, political and diplomatic support to Kashmiribrethren.

Meanwhile, brisk preparations continued to celebrate the Independence Daywith traditional enthusiasm and zeal across the country.

People purchased national flags, Kashmir flags, banners, badges andpictures of national heroes who struggled tirelessly to achieve a separatehomeland for Muslims of subcontinent.

The government of Pakistan has revealed a special logo for the IndependenceDay reflecting the theme “Kashmir Bane Ga Pakistan”.
