ISLAMABAD – World Sikh Parliament blasts India, comes out in full supportfor people of Occupied Kashmir.
The World Sikh Parliament (WSP), to represent Sikh interests on the worldstage, has strongly condemned New Delhi’s move to revoke Indian OccupiedKashmir’s (IOK’s) special status calling it as terrorism act.
It has called it as an attempt to “terrorise Kashmiris.”
According to a statement released by the organisation, the Indian move hasbeen unreservedly condemned.
“This is a brazen attempt to override international law and democraticlegitimacy by unilaterally purporting to divide and annex Kashmir,” it said.
“These moves by New Delhi were overseen by a massive military build-upaimed at terrorising the very people whose destiny, like that of the Sikhsin recent decades, is being stolen by a Hindutva agenda bent on creating aHindu state extending well in to the territories of neighbouring nationalhomelands.”
The organisation was of the view that the Indian government’s steps weretaken with no attempt to engage with Kashmiris or the United Nations.
