ISLAMABAD – The launch date of upcoming iPhone 11 series has just gotmistakenly leaked and it is expected to be launched on September 20.
SoftBank Mobile President Ken Miyauchi while presenting the company’squarterly earnings report accidentally spilled out the release date of theApple iPhone 11.
Aside from discussing the mobile user numbers growth that has led to anincrease in profit by four percent, Miyauchi inadvertently noted that theupcoming flagship phone is set to go on sale ten days before the end ofSeptember.
Miyauchi leaked the information when he was asked by a journalist about anew telecommunications law going into effect October 1 which would seecarriers in Japan splitting data cost from device prices in customercontracts. If the release date is true, the September 20 drop would fall inline with the time frames we saw with the release of the iPhone XS and XSMax.
As suggested by the previous rumors and leaks, it appears that the upcomingiPhones are going to look a lot like their predecessors in terms of screendesign and aesthetics, with visible notches for facial recognition andminimalistic bezels.
The one thing that does seem different, and therefore exciting, is thatcamera module design on the back. The camera bump appears to be larger thanbefore, and that is not surprising because there are extra lenses toaccommodate after all.
