ISLAMABAD – On Monday, even as India abrogated Article 370 and passed abill to divide the state of Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories –Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh – Opposition Pak leader Maryam Nawaz Shariflashed out at Imran Khan wondering if he ‘walked into a trap’.
Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of erstwhile prime minister Nawaz Sharif, onMonday announced to hold a rally in Sargodha tomorrow regarding New Delhi’sdecision to scrap Article 370 of the Indian Constitution that providesspecial status to Jammu and Kashmir.”My rally in Sargodha tomorrow is nowdedicated to Kashmir,” Maryam wrote on Twitter.
She wrote: “We, the people of Pakistan must be told what commitments weresought by & given to the U.S. by Imran Khan. Was the offer for mediation atrap that you walked into & gloated over, or you as usual had no clue aboutwhat was being planned by the enemy? You,Mr. Khan r so obsessed & occupiedwith fixing yr political rivals that u became completely& criminallyoblivious to the challenges that have engulfed Pakistan. U have wreakedirreversible damage not only to the country but to Kashmiris who needed astrong Pak to support them.”

She added: “You Mr. Khan failed to anticipate what was coming & were eithercompletely oblivious to the preparations that Indian government wasundertaking or were a part of that. Tell us the truth.
