ISLAMABAD – PM Imran Khan held important telephonic conversation withMalaysian PM Mahatir Mohammad over Indian Occupied Kashmir status change.
Prime Minister Imran Khan called Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir BinMohamad to apprise him of the recent developments in IoK.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Imran said that India’sannouncement regarding the change in IOK’s status was “in clear violationof the United Nations Security Council resolutions”.
He stressed that today’s move by New Delhi would “deteriorate the peace andsecurity of the region and would further undermine the relations betweentwo neighbours (India and Pakistan) with strategic capabilities”.
Prime Minister Mahathir told the premier that Malaysia was closelymonitoring the situation in IoK and “would remain in touch”.
He also said that he looked forward to meeting Prime Minister Imran on thesidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York.
