Pakistan starts to reap economic benefits of improved security situation

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan starts to reap economic benefits of improved securitysituation as foreign investors have expressed keen interest in Pakistan.

German Ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck says his country is deliberating uponinitiating development projects in Pakistan due to improved securitysituation in the country.

He made these remarks during a meeting with Interior Minister Ijaz AhmadShah in Islamabad on Monday.

The German Ambassador expressed gratitude to the law enforcement agenciesof Pakistan for improvement in security situation in the country.

He also applauded role of the Interior Minister over improving security ofthe Diplomatic Enclave.

The Interior Minister said relations between Pakistan and Germany havesignificantly improved, and they will hopefully further improve in days tocome.

Regarding Occupied Kashmir, the Interior Minister said Pakistan tried toresolve the Kashmir issue peacefully.

He said Narendra Modi is neither ready on mediation nor dialogue. He saidthe extremist face of Modi has been exposed before the world.
