ISLAMABAD – Pay back the looted money through plea bargain and fly offPakistan, NAWAZ Sharif’s mother Shamim Begum has advised his arrested sonin Kotlakhpat jail, Senior investigative journalist Arif Hameed Bhatti onThursday has revealed.Bhatti stated that Begam Shamim has nudgedincarcerated Nawaz Sharif to make a plea bargain.
Analyzing evolving political situation against the backdrop of reports ofNRO, the senior analyst stated that Nawaz Sharif—when he was in power—wasall set to make Maryam Nawaz president of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz(PML-N).
“However, Shehbaz Sharif approached Begam Shamim and urged her to stopNawaz Sharif from doing so”, added Mr. Bhatti.
“Coming to the present scenario, Begam Shamim paid visit [at Kot LakhpatJail] to convinve Nawaz Sharif to make a plea bargain”, stated Mr. Bhatti.
