RAWALPINDI – Chief Executive of International Islamic Bank, Prince ofQatar Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah Al Thani called on the Chief of Army Staff(COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ, said a statement issued byInter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military’s public relationswing.
According to the ISPR, regional security situation, economic cooperationand issues of mutual interest including cooperation in various fields werediscussed.
The visiting dignitary acknowledged and appreciated the Pakistan Army’sefforts for regional peace, the statement added.
On the occasion, the army chief said that security situation in Pakistanisgetting improved day-by-day and that foreign investment is essential forachieving long-lasting peace.
