Bahria founder Malik Riaz Hussain pre arrest bail rejected, NOT arrest warrants but summons issued

RAWALPINDI – Bahria Town founder Malik Riaz Hussain pre arrest bail wasrejected by the Anti Corruption Court, However NO arrest warrants wereissued rather summons were issued against him.

The anti-corruption court rejected the pre-arrest bail applications ofproperty tycoon Malik Riaz and his son, Ali Riaz, in a land fraud case andsummoned them for the next hearing on Oct 15.

The Court further issued warning that non-bailable warrants against themwould be issued in case of their absence.

The dismissal of the bail pleas has enabled the anti-corruptionestablishment to arrest the property tycoon and his son in the case.

The court dismissed their bail pleas due to “non-prosecution as both fatherand son were not in attendance” during Wednesday’s proceedings.
