US President Donald Trump says he plans to end the right to the citizenship for the children of non-citizens and unauthorized immigrants born on US soil.
In an interview, he said his government is preparing an executive order that will nullify the long-accepted constitutional guarantee of birthright citizenship in the United States.
Under current laws, anyone born in the United States, including children of non-citizens and illegal immigrants automatically qualify to become an American citizens.
