LONDON: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has on Monday said that he would not have been disqualified on an Iqama if there was a fair trial.

Talking to media in London on Monday, while defending himself, he said that there was no ‘minus-Nawaz’ formula.

The former PM said that the party elected him president and only it can remove him from his party position.

Sharif further rejected the reports of division inside the party.

He further said that he would return to Pakistan on November 2  and will appear before the court.
