UK Army Chief General Sir Patrick Sanders met COAS General Asim Munir at the General Headquarters, ISPR said on Wednesday.
Issues related to regional security came under discussion during the meeting, the military media wing said, adding that the British general acknowledged the sacrifices and achievements of the Pak Army in the war on terror.
He heaped praise on the Pak Army for its successful efforts for peace and stability in the region. The British chief of general staff also visited the martyrs' monument and paid tribute to brave soldiers.
General Sir Patrick was presented guard of honour. The UK army chief is on a five-day visit to Pakistan. The visit is part of the longstanding defence cooperation agreement between the two states.
