Online real time data of LND system made public in Punjab

ISLAMABAD:The online real time data of Literacy and Numeracy Drive (LND) system, developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for quality teaching and learning in Punjab has been made public.

Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif said this during a press briefing in Lahore today.

He said with the LND system now Punjab has no ghost school, teacher or fake admission anymore. He said, today the literacy and numeracy data has been made public at: https://open.punjab.gov.pk/schools.

He said the system also records the missing utility facilities like boundary wall, washroom, water and electricity in schools.

Meanwhile, a two-day event under the aegis of PITB's "Plan-X" kicked off at Arfa Software Technology Park in Lahore on Friday.

PlanX Technology Accelerator is a project of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) aimed at promoting the sustainability of technology start-ups.

It also aims to empower commercially viable mid-stage technology start-ups by providing access to multiple funding channels, specialized network of mentors and global exposure to establish high impact businesses.  APP/AFP
