World Bank to provide $434 m to Pakistan for financial, social sector

Pakistan and the World Bank have signed five agreements worth 434 million dollars for socio-economic development in the country.

Agreements to this effect were signed in Islamabad on Thursday by representatives of Economic Affairs Division and World Bank.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, who was chief guest on the occasion, said the Bank would provide funding for development policy credit, BISP, KPK, FATA and Balochistan.
