Facilitators of Gulshan Iqbal Park blast would be brought to justice soon: Punjab IG

LAHORE: Punjab IG Mushtaq Sukhera made it clear that all the security agencies and departments are working together for the elimination of terrorism while facilitators of Gulshan Iqbal Park blast would be brought to justice soon.

 

While addressing the women passing out parade here at today (Thursday) he said that investigation is underway on all aspects of Lahore blast while Muhammad Yousaf had been declared suicide bomber due to misinformation of initial investigation however, CTD or Police did not claim that Mohammad Yousaf was suicide bomber.

 

Mushtaq Sukhera added that Punjab Police will ensure the life and property of people of Punjab while perpetrators of Lahore blast would have to pay the price soon.

 

All security institutions are working together in a crackdown against terrorists and their facilitators. IG said that terrorists were killed by security forces in Lahore last day, did not have any links with Gulshan Iqbal blast however, the dead terrorists were involved in other heinous crimes.

 

Addressing the passing out parade of women, IG said that women are playing an important role in the progress of country and society while he expressed his hope that women security personnel would pay their duties with honesty.
