PESHAWAR: (APP) Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has said provincial government is taking all possible steps for rapid industrialization and creation of investment opportunities in the province under one window operation of the provincial Industrial Policy.
An independent body was already established to facilitate investors whereas attractive packages were being provided to them under one window operation of the provincial industrial policy.
He was talking to the visiting Ambassador of Spain Carlos Cesar Morales Sanchez, Education Minister Muhammad Atif Khan, Secretaries and other authorities were also present. They discussed investment opportunities, CPEC Geo-strategic importance and matters of mutual interest.
Chief Minister said that KP government had introduced reforms in all sector, however, health, education, police, energy and social sectors were at top of the agenda of provincial government to bring it at par with developed countries.
Ambassador to Spain eulogized provincial government efforts for successful Billion-Tree Tsumani and extended all out support in imports of plants.
The Ambassador termed his visit very successful. He was very appreciative of law & order situation in the province as compared to the past saying that present environment was very conducive for investment in the province. He lauded KP govt's reforms initiatives viz-a-viz record legislation, developmental strategy terming it a great achievement.
The visiting ambassador expressed his willingness in investment in the sector of agriculture, energy, forest and minerals.
