PSL - 6: Good news for the Pakistani cricket fans

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has formulated a plan of action to ensure spectator participation in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League will begin on February 20 at the National Stadium in Karachi, where it was initially decided to hold matches in the stadium due to the coronavirus.

In view of the improving situation during the second wave of coronavirus in the country, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials have devised a plan to allow a limited number of spectators to come to the stadium to watch the matches.

In this regard, the top officials of the PCB will meet the officials of the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) next week and the Chief Executive of the PCB Wasim Khan will also share the plan regarding the arrival of cricket fans at the stadium.

The PCB plans to bring 40% of the spectators to the stadium in PSL 6 and will take care of the social distance and Coronavirus SOPs inside the stadium.

The final decision on the arrival of spectators at the stadium will be made with the permission of the NCOC and the government.

It should be noted that the coronavirus has severely affected sports competitions around the world and last year many sports articles were cancelled due to this reason.
