Salalah: Pakistan emerged victorious against arch-rivals India in a match of the FIH Asia Hockey Cup.
In the ongoing FIH Asia Hockey Cup held in the city of Salalah, Pakistan secured a win over traditional rivals India with a score of 5 goals to 4.
Pakistan's Arshad Liaquat, Zakria Hayat, Abdul Rahman, and Rana Abdul Wahid scored one goal each. Pakistani goalkeeper Abdullah Istiaq Khan showcased an outstanding performance and was named the Man of the Match.

President of the Pakistan Hockey Federation, Brigadier (R) Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, announced a reward of 100 dollars for each player in recognition of their splendid performance against India.
The FIH Asia Hockey Cup features the participation of 11 teams, including Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and the host country Oman's teams.
