In the second phase of establishing the provincial cabinet, Balochistan Governor Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar presided over the oath-taking ceremony for six members of the caretaker cabinet. This event took place on Wednesday and marked a significant step towards setting up the cabinet.
The individuals who were administered the oath on this day are Dr Amir Muhammad Khan Jogaizai, Amanullah Kanrani, Nawabzada Jamal Khan Raisani, Sheikh Mehmoodul-Hassan, Sardar Ijaz Khan, and Asifur Rehman. Their commitment to serving in the caretaker cabinet reinforces the province's administrative structure.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by key figures including Caretaker Chief Minister Ali Mardan Domki and other provincial ministers. This gathering emphasized the importance of this transitional phase in Balochistan's governance. With the induction of these new members, the total count of caretaker ministers in Balochistan has now reached 11. Notably, the cabinet also incorporates three secretaries who contribute to the decision-making process.
In a prior phase, the first set of individuals for the Balochistan caretaker cabinet took their oaths. Among those who were sworn in during that initial phase were Capt (Retd) Zubair Jamali, Prince Ahmed Ali, Amjad Rasheed, Abdul Qadir Baloch, and Jan Achakzai. These members are expected to play vital roles in ensuring the effective functioning of the caretaker administration in Balochistan.
