ISLAMABAD: (APP) All Pakistan Business Forum (APBF) is preparing to arrange a conference on impact of extremism on Pakistan's economy.
President of APBF, Ibrahim Qureshi on Wednesday said extremism and violent crimes have affected Pakistani society – more than any other country.
He said attacks on business-centres, military establishments, public places, educational institutions, hospitals and recreational places were taking innocent lives and destroying valuable properties, with a debilitating effect on socio-economic activities and investments across the country.
This will be first-ever conference being held by APBF to address the issue and meet challenges through insightful deliberations and wisdom-sharing exercises.
A large number of industrial leaders and prominent entrepreneurs have expressed their interest in attending the forum and enriching the discussions with their expertise.
