The Iran-backed Huthi rebels of Yemen have threatened more attacks againstIsrael if Israel’s war on Hamas in Gaza continues.
They have already conducted three separate operations involving the firingof drones and ballistic missiles. The Huthi military statement, broadcaston Al-Masirah TV, confirmed their intent to continue these missile anddrone strikes until Israeli aggression ceases.
This statement followed their launch of a large number of ballisticmissiles and armed aircraft towards Israel on Tuesday, marking the thirdsuch operation since the start of the Gaza assault on October 7. Israel’smilitary intercepted a “surface-to-surface missile” and reported that allaerial threats were intercepted outside of Israeli territory.
The Huthis view themselves as part of the “axis of resistance” againstIsrael, aligning with Tehran-backed groups in Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq.
