ISLAMABAD – PTI has given vacant female senate seat ticket to a surprisecandidate and all 11 aspirant candidates were left wondering.
Seemi Ezdi, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader JahangirTareen, on Wednesday has been given ticket for Senate seat in Punjab afterthe approval of party chief and Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
At least 11 PTI women including Firdous Ashiq Awan, Nargis Jabeen, NidaRehman, Rukhsana Bhatti, Sima Anwaar, Asma Badar, Noreen Farooqui, IrumBukhari, Dr Zarqa and Sara Ahmed had submitted applications to contest theSenate election from Punjab.

However, the party found Seemi Ezdi suitable for the ticket to contest thepoll on November 15.
