ISLAMABAD – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has laudedoperational preparedness of the Pakistan Army troops, saying the armedforces of the country have become battle-hardened due to multiplecounter-terrorism operations carried out against militants in the past.
The army chief said this while visiting Lahore Corps and Pakistan RangersPunjab headquarters, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services PublicRelations (ISPR) on Saturday.
During the visit, General Qamar was briefed on border situation andoperational preparedness of the troops.
“CT (counter-terrorism) operations have made Pakistan Army battle hardened.I am proud of my officers and soldiers who have lived up to theexpectations of nation. We stay steadfast,” he was quoted by the military’smedia wing as saying.
